Itinerary.

Ancient cities have to move with the times or they risk becoming cut-out parodies of themselves, empty of life and meaning. Take Seville. For many years, this romantic city refused to budge from its default position of 'old-fashioned is best'. But something has changed. To visit Seville now is to feel a fresh breeze blowing through the sweltering streets ...
The flight departs early, arriving into Seville around 10am. Our hotel is in the heart of the Old Town, where we'll base ourselves for three days adventuring. We'll start slowly, getting into the swing of our cameras once again, then head to the Real Alcazar, a palace listed on UNESCO's World Heritage list, and more recently a film set for Game of Thrones. We'll use this location to test out some techniques in travel photography, light, grabbing vistas, detailed closeups, even portraits - bringing more life to our images. Later, we'll climb the Setas de Sevilla, an oversized wooden structure that resembles massive mushrooms - and drink in the sunset over the city - before heading to La Pepona, a sophisticated gastrobar, tapas is on another scale here.

It’s hard not to imagine the former inhabitants of this bohemian barrio of Triana: the Roma gypsy community, religious deviants and the sailors who joined Christopher Columbus on his voyage to the Americas.
This morning, we'll head to Triana, the special neighbourhood of Seville, famous for its history, its idiosyncrasy, and its significance. We'll swing by the essential stops: the Plaza del Altozano, Calle Betis, the Capillita del Carmen, the Castillo de San Jorge, and the Triana Market - trying out styles of reportage to expand our repertoire. Later, we'll head to La Madriguera de Mai, and shoot live flamenco dancers in a stunning setting.

On our last day, we'll sweep up the rest of the must-sees and the unusual sights of Seville.
First up, we'll take in the soft morning light (and way less busy times) at Plaza Espana, qite probably most beautiful place in Sevilla. Maybe even the most beautiful place of Spain. We'll climb the Giralda, - it’s worth the effort; at the top lie 24 mighty bells and panoramic views of Seville, with the hazy outline of the Sierra Norte mountains in the distance. After a final spot of tapas, we'll take a look at all our wares and swap numbers with new found friends before departing late for our flight home.
