Introducing Weekenders, our 3-day photographic adventures.
We all need a much needed escape from reality, so each month we’ll fly out to a gorgeous location – all within 2 hours flight of the UK – for some creative adventures, lush hotels and the usual Creative Escapes fun times.
As ever, we’ll mix a range of locations, from epic landscapes, edgy street reportage, candid portraits all mixed up with some lovely grub, and a chance to catchup with other snappers, getting to grips with some of Europe’s most fascinating shooting locations. And in true Creative Escapes style, we’ve sourced some of the coolest boutique hotels, fab places to hang out, and catch some rays with like minded folks!

It’s time to get back out there with our cameras again, and kickstart. that creative mojo.
Each month, we pick a great location and invite you to come with us to get behind the scenes and shoot some work you love again. As ever with Creative Escapes, there’s something for everyone, so we try out a range of styles in portraiture, reportage, landscape and still life, and see which take your fancy. And a Creative Escapes trip wouldn’t be the same without some nice food at one of the many great eateries around the country – and night out to remember.
And the best bit? Each Weekender is a one-off, so we can explore more of Europe, every month …

We didn’t want to spend half our weekend travelling, so we set ourselves the task of finding some great spots, all within 2 hours flight of the UK.
Like usual, each Weekender will of course explore the highlights of the places we visit, but also those hidden gems not listed in the guidebooks, so you can feel more traveller and less tourist.
We’ve handpicked a selection of some of the coolest boutique hotels, so you get creatively inspired on every part of your Weekender.
The accommodation you’ll be staying in is listed on each of the Weekender pages, and we include the single supplement as standard.

Each Weekender departs on the Friday morning then the flight back is on Sunday evening – so you get 3 days worth of holidaying. We head out to a multitude of locations which are detailed in the individual Weekender pages below. We complete the trip with a short review of each of your shots, plus we’ll pick your best one to feature on our social media pages.
